Dunamis is a non-profit organization in Quito, Ecuador that serves under aged girls who have been rescued from sex and labor trafficking. Dunamis engages the girls around life skills while providing a Christ-centered environment focused on restoration to enable them to reintegrate into the world as healthy young women. In addition, Dunamis provides a professional jewelry making course for the girls, using tagua, a seed that has an unfavorable appearance, but once opened, refined, processed and polished, appears like a beautiful stone. This captures the heart of Dunamis passion for these girls, to help them discover the beauty within.
The vision of Dunamis is to be a model in Ecuador, Latin America and beyond in providing a safe place for girls who have survived sex and labor trafficking and be a tool for transformation in their lives through Jesus Christ.
